MOONSHINE MEATS CSA

When you sign up for the Moonshine Meats CSA, you’ll get a generous share of our signature meats each month. Our animals are 100% pasture-raised and grazed throughout the great states of the southeast. They live happy and healthy lives under the sun, enjoying a veritable salad bar of grasses and legumes. The intensive management and ethical care required to balance both herd and farm health results in a product unmatched in nutritional value, cleanliness, and succulent, mouthwatering flavor. Our beef


We are dedicated to providing top quality beef to you at below market prices. All of our beef is 100% grassfed, hormone & antibiotic free, and treated with love, respect and dignity from calving to slaughter. We minimize transportation to keep our cattle stress-free. All beef is slaughtered in a USDA certified facility, aged for a minimum of 14 days, craft butchered, cryovaced, flash frozen, and labeled.

Our pork


Our pasture-raised hogs are truly the gem in our comestible crown. We raise heritage breeds such as Tamworth and Berkshire that are closer in nature to their ancient, forest-dwelling predecessors and show natural resilience, grazing aptitude and have incredible flavor profiles. Our hogs spend their lives in close family units, foraging and frolicking in our range of diverse woodlands and pastures. The quality of life translates directly into the quality of our meat. The eye-opening flavor of our prized pork will be a memorable meal for you and the lucky few with who you share it.

Man’s Best Friend Share

Give your canine friend a little something extra... our dog food is made from Moonshine Meats very own beef liver, heart and other choice organ meats. We add diced vegetables and process in our inspected facilities ensuring the health and well-being of your beloved pet.

Although we are offering our shares on a quarterly and half-year basis, to truly connect with the rhythm of the farm, and appreciate the subtle changes our animals and pastures undergo throughout the seasons, we recommend our full year share.

3. Pick your method of payment and decide if you want to pay in advance for 3, 6, or 12 months.
4. Pick-up your shares at Farm 255 in Athens on a designated Friday or at Farm Burger in Decatur on a designated Saturday every month.
5. At any time, log onto the Farmigo site and order additional products to pick up at your designated location along with your regular share.
6. Enjoy sustainably-raised and locally-produced meats all season long.
